Woman Reveals Moment She Found Out Husband Was Having An Affair Down The Road
A woman has opened up about the moments she discovered her husband's affair with an incriminating photo.
Parents Karen and Mark were blissfully married in their home in Perth for five years, raising their four-year-old twins when she made a shocking discovery about her husband.
The busy couple seemingly had the perfect relationship, with loving and supportive Mark inspiring the best in Karen, praising her parenting skills and encouraging her to start her own home business.
Mark's scattered work schedule didn't seem to have an effect on their married life.
Travelling around the globe, visiting places like London and South Africa for his job, his doting wife and kids would wave him off at the airport every few weeks.
Speaking to Nine Honey, Karen described him as a: "Huge support both financially and emotionally."
Even though Mark was away with work for a good portion of their time, their life seemed perfect, until the day Karen discovered an incriminating photo in Mark's luggage, showing him as a part in someone else's fairy-tale family.
She said: "I literally held up the photo frame with the picture of the woman and boy and said, 'Who are they and why was this in your suitcase?'"
Not only was Mark living an entirely secret life with another partner, Belinda, they also had an 18-month old son together, Max.
Karen kicked Mark out of their house, saying: "I couldn't stop crying. I said things like, 'How could you do this to me and the girls?'"
What really shocked Karen was that his secret family weren't on the other side of the world as she would have expected with his frequent airport trips - they were actually living just 3 miles down the road.
According to Mark, Belinda knew all about Karen - though Karen doubts this claim.
The situation might be every wife's nightmare, but Karen hasn't ruled out the chance of meeting with Belinda and letting the half-siblings to connect with each other.
