New Duvet Has Two Heat Settings So You Don't Have To Fight With Your Partner

Duvet wars are common among couples. We've all had a partner that can happily fling the duvet off in even the most baltic bedroom conditions, or one that will wrap themselves up tight in the midst of a heatwave.

Now, a new duvet is about to put an end to TOG tiffs across the country, by allowing couples to each select their ideal sleep environment.

The Hot & Not duvet by Nanu is said to meet the meet the needs of each individual, including deciding how warm or cool their side of the bed should be.

A OnePoll survey conducted by the brand discovered over a quarter of British couples fight over the duvet. It also found that four per cent of couples have considered having two single duvets. The brand hope 'this new functionality offers a neat solution that will satisfy sleepers and ensure British beds remain aesthetically pleasing.'

This patented duvet allows couples to create their bespoke half online, but instead of using TOG ratings (the measure of thermal insulance) - as they found many people don't understand it - couples pick temperatures based on each sleeper from toasty, snug and cosy through to chilled, calm and cool.

All they have to do is ask a few questions when they go to make it.

The Hot & Not duvet, which has no zips or joins and is created in two seamless halves, ranges from double to king size. They'll set you back between £50 and £75, which we think is really reasonable. Can you really put a price on a good night's sleep?
