Man Criticised For Revealing His 'Brutally Honest' Golden Dating Rules

Everyone has their own ideas on how things should be done when it comes to dating. Some might even have their own rules, such as no sex until the fifth date or whether you should split the bill, but one man has come under fire after he revealed his 'brutally honest' golden rules of dating.

Baseball star Trevor Bauer is a pitcher for the Cleveland Indians and he has three very specific rules he says to women on the very first date.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Bauer revealed rule number one as "no feelings. As soon as I sense you're developing feelings, I'm going to cut it off, because I'm not interested in a relationship and I'm emotionally unavailable."

He continued: "Two: no social media posts about me while we're together, because private life stays private."

Last, but certainly not least... "Three: I sleep with other people. I'm going to continue to sleep with other people. If you're not okay with that, we won't sleep together, and that's perfectly fine. We can just be perfectly polite platonic friends."

Understandably, Bauer's unconventional rules have gotten a lot of people talking, and it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea...

However, others - notably mainly men - defended the baseball player, insisting "at least he's honest."
