Mum's Clever Trick For Keeping Paddling Pools Clean In Summer Goes Viral

With Britain's newfound 30C heat, it's no wonder parents are trying to keep their kids cool with paddling pools.

But as wonderful as they are for a refreshing dip, the inflatable pools often seem to attract any kind of dirt, leaves or bugs that go within a three mile radius of them. THE STRESS.

One parent has now shared an easy way to avoid annoying dirt build-up between uses, and it's easy for pretty much anyone to do.

The clever summer trick was suggested by Sarah Jane Bennett ,and shared by Deborah Hitchens on the Family Days Tried and Tested Facebook group, and reveals a handy tip for dealing with the problem.

Posting on Facebook, the garden-savvy mum recommended using an old fitted sheet to cover the pool overnight or when it's not being used - a genius suggestion which has already caught the attention of thousands.

The post has already been shared over 10,000 times, and has racked up an impressive 2,200 comments (at time of writing).

One person praised: "This is such a good idea that I would have never thought of!"

Another commented: "What a fab idea!"
