One woman is heaping on the praise for Lush's Dream Cream for clearing up her son's eczema in just days.
Kerry McPhee ditched steroid creams in favour of the natural cosmetics company's lotion following recommendations from other social media users, and the decision truly paid off.
The mum explained in a social media post that she was at her 'wits end' trying to soothe her son's skin, which had "a mix of very angry red and scaly patches" despite using the strongest creams on prescription.
"For months we've been struggling with Ashton's eczema. He's tried various steroid creams, ointments, moisturisers and washes etc. The last steroid cream that he got, the doctor told us it was the strongest one he could prescribe for his face," she wrote in a now-viral Facebook post. "We were at our wits end and Ashton's face and body had a mix of very angry red and scaly patches."

Sharing the results after just four days, Kerry admitted that she was sceptical at first over whether the cream would make even work.
"This is the result after only FOUR days! We used Dream Cream 2-3 times a day AND a very small amount of 1% Hydrocortisone cream 1-2 times a day (which is the weakest strength steroid that you can buy over the counter). One week later and we've ditched the steroid cream!" exclaimed Kerry.
"I'm posting incase this helps anyone else out there with eczema. I was sceptical but it proved to be absolutely worth a try!"

While not everyone's eczema might clear up with the Dream Cream, plenty of others were quick to vouch for its effectiveness.
"Totally recommend the dream cream. We spent years with my daughter on every steroid cream going," explained one. "Finally we popped into Lush and was given dream cream and never looked back."
Somebody else shared: "I used to use this with my son when his eczema was really bad when he was a toddler and it was the only thing that worked, he's now 15 and eczema free."
Lush describes the cream as, "Light, cooling and easily absorbed into the skin, the combination of calming chamomile, organic, extra virgin olive oil and creamy, Fair Trade, organic cocoa butter quickly soothes and softens."

At £4.50 per 45g pot, it's definitely worth a shot.
