Thirty-three-year-old Ryan Jessen thought he was just suffering a severe migraine, but was diagnosed by doctors with a ventricular brain haemorrhage, and sadly had just a few days to live.
The touching moment his Boxer dog Mollie came to visit him as he lay in a hospital bed to say goodbye was all caught on camera. Yep, it's just as tear-jerking as it sounds.
Ryan's sister, Michelle, first posted a clip capturing Mollie sniffing at her owner's face and curling up to him on the bed as the family look on, and the clip quickly did the rounds on social media.
"The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother's dog in to "say goodbye" so she'd know why her human never came home," explained Michelle at the time.

"If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog. So many people have asked - He thought he had a migraine, but it was a ventricular brain hemorrhage."
Michelle went on to explain that her brother's heart was donated to a 17-year-old boy in California who was in desperate need of a donor.
"As sad as it is to lose Ryan, we know his heart is going to bring so much joy to the family of the recipient. I wish Ryan could know what a difference his heart will make for that young man," she added.
It's thought that a dog's sense of smell is actually why people can have a telepathic relationship with their pooches. Just with their sense of smell, they can pick up the things responsible for our feelings.

So when Mollie sadly nudges at her owner's face in the above clip, she could know full well what's going on.
