Woman Buys Daughter T-Shirt Online But Gets Something A Little More Explicit

Shopping online through websites you've never used before can always be a massive gamble, especially when the item which arrives ends up looking nothing like the picture advertised.

And this woman knows the above statement all too well after purchasing a t-shirt for her daughter online from shopping store Aliexpress.

Mum Kelsey Dawn Williamson thought she had ordered a white t-shirt with a frog and a toad on the front for her three-year-old daughter, Salem.

But what arrived was an NSFW version of said t-shirt, with the slogan: "F*ck the police," printed underneath the sweet image.

Luckily, Kelsey was immediately able to see the funny side of the incident, and shared a picture to Facebook of the top she thought she had ordered alongside one of Salem wearing the one they actually received.

The mum's post quickly went viral, and now has a total of over 60,000 likes and 30,000 shares from tickled Facebook users (at the time of writing).

"What I ordered VS what I received," Kelsey shared on the platform, going on to add: "I f*cking love China. I cannot stop screaming. WHO DOES THIS."

Kelsey spoke to Kidspot about the social media reaction to the $4.95 (£3.92) purchase. "I originally just shared the t-shirt with only my friends until one of them wanted to share it to their profile, so I made it public," she explained. "I definitely wasn't expecting it to go this far. It all happened so fast."

The mum added that her daughter can't read yet, meaning she had no idea what the top actually said.

"Salem can't read, so she had no idea what was going on. But it's really common for me to make her try stuff on that comes in the mail and take 100 pictures. So I think she thought that's what was happening," she explained.

And before you panic, Kelsey says she won't be letting her daughter wear the top out in public.

KeIsey added: "I do agree that the shirt is inappropriate and I'd never let her wear it in a public place.

"The situation itself was just funny not to share, how does this even happen?!"

Social media users were obviously just as tickled by the top as Kelsey, with one tweeting: "This is an image I need in my life. Thank you."

If you're wondering whether Kelsey will be returning the item, it's actually going straight in Salem's memory box so they can laugh about the moment time and time again.
