The Queen is currently on the hunt for a full-time staffer and the successful will get the chance to live with her at Buckingham Palace completely rent free.

A job advert has been posted on the Buckingham Palace website advertising the opening for a Kitchen Porter. The role offers a salary of almost £20,000 and the option of live-in accommodation (for a salary adjustment).

Her Majesty also offers some excellent staff perks with the job advert mentioning all meals are included as well as 33 days holiday- it sounds like the dream workplace.

As part of the role successful applicants would be responsible for maintaining the kitchen and clear-up areas and ensuring chefs have everything they need to deliver meals to the royal household.

However the job ad does provide an idea for the type of person they are looking for it says: "Most important is that you're a natural team player, happy to get involved, use initiative and work with your colleagues to achieve a smooth daily service.

"You clearly take care and pride in your work, and so aim to deliver great results in all that you do.

"A good understanding of food hygiene and safety would be beneficial, but it's not necessary, as if you don't have experience in this area we'll organise training for you.

"Above all, you're keen to develop your skills and gain experience in an exceptional catering environment."

If you are a British Citizen or have permission to work in the UK you can apply here but applications close on the 24th August.
