Room service is one of the highlights of staying in a hotel, but usually the best we can hope for the bell man to bring us is a plate of chips and a club sandwich.

That's unless you're staying Kimpton Hotel Monaco, who will literally deliver puppies and prosecco to your door.

Yep, the Denver-based hotel have taken hospitality one step further with their 'Puppies + Prosecco Package', where guests can book their own private puppy party while quenching their thirst with some delicious bubbles.

Six to ten puppies will be brought to your door for an hour of playtime, along with a puppy expert to answer any questions you have. There's also be prosecco and Italian cicchetti from award-winning restaurant Panzano for you to snack on.

The offer, in honour of National Dog Day (August 26th), is valid from is valid August 23rd to 26th. What's more is that 50 per cent of profits will go towards local charity Lifeline Puppy Rescue.

"At Hotel Monaco, we are always looking for advanced elements of comfort and feelings of home for our guests," said Chris Guse, general manager of the hotel.

"With that approach, puppies have naturally been incorporated into our evening wine hour program.
