This woman had the perfect response after a mechanic decided to text her using his personal number to tell her she was 'gorgeous'.

When you take your car to be serviced that's all you want doing and most of the time you aren't looking for a potential date.

That's why when one customer received an unwanted text from her mechanic to tell her that 'she is gorgeous' she decided to educate him.

Using his personal number, the mechanic wrote: "You are gorgeous", without letting the woman know who it was or even saying hi.

Obviously, a bit confused the woman replied to ask who it was and at the point where he replied "your favourite oil change guy", he should've really realised that he wasn't being very professional.

Before educating the mechanic on how not to text a customer to tell her she's gorgeous, (like that really needs to be taught) the woman clarifies that it is definitely the person who looked at her car.

Once confirmed the woman lets loose and we are 100 per cent behind everything she says.

Replying to the mechanic who took it upon himself to find the woman's personal number and text her, the woman wrote: "So I feel like this is a teachable moment for you.

"While I know you were wanting to give a compliment, it was completely unnecessary and unsolicited."

We can already tell this is going to be good. She then goes on to explain: "I am a customer, you are a service provider and there should be no communication between us outside of that unless, I the customer, express interest."

The woman also explained that she was a married woman who had made that clear when she as talking about the maintenance of her car.

To explain to the mechanic why he shouldn't have text her the customer explained that his text made her feel 'panicked'.

She wrote: "When you contacted me, I felt a little panicked because you went back in my file and got my number.

The woman said the mechanic's text put her in an awkward position. (

"I have other personal information, like my address, saved there as well."

The woman continued: "And now I know that you are the type of person to go back in someone's file to find their personal information, what is to keep you from going back and getting my address.

"There are men who stalk, rape, and murder women by getting their information this way."

She then continues to explain that she now either has to find somewhere else to get her oil changed to avoid any awkward meetings or contact HR.

We think the mechanic got the message. (

Of course, she told the mechanic that she wouldn't be doing the latter as she 'wouldn't want to ruin someone's livelihood over something so simple.'

The mechanic did reply and apologised to the woman and just to make sure he doesn't call himself anyone's favourite oil change guy the woman put him in his place.

She wrote: "Oh, and you didn't tell me what the tire pressure was on the rear passenger tire like I asked, so you are definitely not even in my top five favourite oil change guys."
