It's 2019 yet parents are still subjected to outdated gender roles. One of these is, undoubtedly, the issue of baby changing.

As most parents know, you'd be hard-pressed to find a baby changing area in a men's toilets despite them being abundant in women's. For dads doing the duty, they often have to resort to less-than-practical alternatives such as changing in the car, on their laps or on a chair.

Well now, Pampers have pledged to install over 5,000 changing tables in men's toilets across the US.

At the time he wrote: "This is a serious post!!! What's the deal with not having changing tables in men's bathroom as if we don't exist!! #FLM#fatherslivesmatter clearly we do this often because look how comfortable my son is. It's routine to him!!!!

"Let's fix this problem! I Kaepernick drop a knee to this issue! @theshaderoom let's show the innovation of fathers! #squatforchange."

Pampers released a video to go alongside their campaign featuring brand ambassador John Legend and other dads, including Donte Palmer, showing the many makeshift changing tables they have to settle with.

"Dads have to resort to all these manoeuvres because there's no changing stations in our restrooms," Legend says as he changes his one-year-old son Miles on his piano.

Nice one, Pampers!
