These Tumble Dryer Balls Have More Than 12K 5 Star Reviews On Amazon

Households up and down the country are raving about tumble dryer balls, which are said to cut drying time in half.

Smart Sheep reusable wool dryer balls are said to be saving thousands of people money as well as softening clothes while they dry them.

The reusable balls cost just £12.99 for eight, which should last around three years - withstanding thousands of washes.

On Amazon, the company describes the gadgets by saying: "These dryer balls soften and fluff clothing, towels, sheets, blankets, jackets and more!

"Dryer balls keep heavy items such as jeans, blankets, sheets, and more from getting balled up and help to dry clothes more evenly."

Explaining just how they work, the company continues: "Dryer balls help improve air flow in the dryer which shortens dry time (shorter drying times means a reduced power utility bill)."

The sheep wool balls have since racked up more than 12,000 five star reviews on Amazon, with one satisfied customer calling them 'little gems.'
