Everyone knows the easiest way to make a house a home is to pack it full of plants, and Etsy has come through with the perfect succulent to add to your stash.
If you're one of those people who can't be trusted with regular watering duties then a succulent is the must-have low maintenance accessory.
But why settle for the plain green variety? You can now get your hands on a selection of rare, colourful succulents on Etsy - the most beautiful being the Greenovia dodrantalis.

Also known as the 'mountain rose' (because it looks just like the flower, natch) the unusual plant is the perfect addition to any windowsill or fireplace.
The plant originates from the Canary Islands, so it's used to warm conditions and doesn't require a lot of watering.
You can keep your Greenovia dodrantalis either indoors or out, and with just a small amount of care the plant can flourish, and even reach heights of up to six inches.

However, it's worth noting that if the temperatures reach freezing then you'll have to move it inside for the winter.
Currently selling at £12.78 on the online retailer, buyers can also opt to snatch up a set of two for £25.56, three for £38.34 and four for £51.12.
If you want a whole set of the pretty plants you can also shell out £76.69 for six.

However, you can also grow more from your own home, as your Greenovia dodrantalis may well produce pups or offsets from its original plant.
These will be attached by thin stems, but you can also snip them off and grow them individually in their own containers, meaning you can scatter the rosey succulents all over your home.
If you fancy nabbing one for yourself you'll have to act quickly, as the pink mountain roses are one of the rarest varieties out there.

Alternatively, bag yourself a blue-green succulent from the same plant family, which are much more common and often spotted on homeware Pinterest forums.
Of course, you can also buy yourself some seeds and grow the mountain rose from scratch, but be prepared to wait as long as two years for it to properly flower.
BRB, we're off to stock up while we still can.
