Wedding Guest Baffled As Plain Yorkshire Puddings Served As Starter

A social media user has shared photos of her *unusual* meal served at a wedding she attended, which included Yorkshire puddings as a starter and tinned tuna on a pizza with chips and baked beans for main course.

Choosing catering for your wedding is, by no means, an easy feat as there's no way everyone will be impressed by what you select. But this bride and groom really seemed to miss the mark by their guests' reviews.

Sharing the pictures to Facebook group That's It I'm Wedding Shaming, the wedding guest revealed the Yorkshire puddings had been served without a drip of gravy, just a sad sprig of parsley on the side.

Included in the entree option was a plain chicken breast, stuffing, a pig in blanket, and one roast potato, which doesn't look too bad.

But the green beans stuffed through a piece of hollowed out courgette is fairly unusual, and there's also some other unidentifiable food on the plate that raises eyebrows.

Another option included what appears to be a supermarket pizza topped with some tinned tuna, chips and a side of baked beans, although this appears to be the children's option.

Now, we aren't knocking the bride and groom's food choices, but we don't know how anyone could dare serve Yorkies without gravy.

The guest wrote underneath the post: "I don't know if the chef of this 4 star "luxury" hotel was sick that day, or on holiday - but something must have been going on.

"I really appreciate the little herb on the side of the frozen Yorkshire puddings, really pushing it out there."

And it's fair to say that people had... thoughts. "I would be 100 per cent in the kitchen, throwing abuse at the entire kitchen staff if that was what was served at my wedding," declared one.

While another responded: "I had better food in school dinners."

Yikes.
