Let's be honest: as accommodating as you try to be, nobody relishes sitting within ear shot of a baby on a flight. But this mum's 'touching' gesture melted the hearts of all the passengers on her long-haul flight as she handed out care packages for all 200 people on board in case her baby wouldn't settle.

The unnamed woman was travelling with the baby's grandma to take her four-month-old baby on their first flight from Seoul, South Korea, to San Francisco in America to visit its auntie in the US.

Fellow passenger Dave Corona posted a snap of the sweets, note and earplugs the mum kindly gave him to Facebook with the caption:

"On a Ten hour flight from Seoul Korea to San Francisco, a mother handed out more than 200 goodie bags filled with candy and ear plugs, in case her 4 month old child cried during the flight.

"A very touching gesture by the mother but as you know when you have kids expect the unexpected.
Not a peep out of the kid."

The note inside apparently penned by the baby himself read: "Hello, I'm Junwoo and I'm 4 months old. Today I am going to the U.S. with my mom and grandmom to see my aunt.

"I'm a little bit nervous because it's my first flight in my life, which means that I may cry or make too much noise.

"I will try to go quietly, though I can't make any promises. Please excuse me.

"So my mom prepared a little goodie bag for you! It has some candies and earplugs.

"Please use it when it's too noisy because of me. Enjoy your trip. Thank you."

Another said: "Just being able to put together 200 care packages with a small infant around is super impressive! And of course, Murphy's Law is alive and well."

A third commented: "That is so amazing! Beautiful gesture!"

But others felt sad that new mums don't feel comfortable when their babies cry in public.

One commented: "This is just sad. She doesn't need to do such a thing. We people should understand her."

Another said: " That was a nice gesture, but I think people need to be more understanding on flights and not make parents and their children feel so "unwelcome" on flights. We were all babies at one point in life..."

Pretty52 spoke exclusively to Dave Corona about what he thought of the new mum's move and how she made a "village" community on the plane with her simple, kind gesture: "If you give respect you'll always get respect. With that saying the atmosphere on the plane after the mother gave out the bags was everyone wanted to make sure that baby had a comfortable flight."
