It's nearly Christmas and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than with hundreds of dachshunds.

A free, festive-themed sausage dog walk is taking place in Hyde Park in London on Sunday 16th December.

Christmas outfits are encouraged, according to the event organisers, and there will even be a prize for the best dressed pup.

Everyone will meet at the Italian Gardens Cafe at 11am for a coffee, before setting off to the park so the dogs can play.

Unfortunately the walk is only for dog owners, not dachshund enthusiasts, but if you're in the area, make sure you look out for the group.

If you're a sausage dog fan and you're looking for Christmas presents, Asda is selling dachshund bedding as part of its festive homeware range and it looks incredibly festive and cute.

The duvet and pillowcase set is decorated with illustrated sausage dogs in Santa hats and Christmas jumpers, with some of them carrying perfectly wrapped presents on their back.

It's available in single, double, king and super king ranging from £10 to £16 and is made from poly-cotton fabric meaning it creases less easily, keeping your bedding looking fresh and crisp.

If you really love the adorable sausage dog print, you can even buy a matching cushion to accessorise your bedroom and let people know you're feeling extremely festive.

As well as the adorable sausage dogs, ASDA has added plenty more festive duvet covers to their range, including an Avo- Merry Christmas theme and it wouldn't be winter without some penguins.

Or if you're looking to splash your cash, you can get a teddy bear replica of your favourite pet.

Cuddle Clones creates a fluffy toy from a picture of your pet (dog, cat, horse, etc), and you can use as many snaps as you like to ensure it's accurate.

You can also choose their tail that you want (excited, relaxed or laying down), pick how your want their ears to look (up, folded or floppy), select their mouth (open, closed, sticking out tongue), as well as the toy/pet's position (standing or sitting).

It takes between four to eight weeks to be made, and prices start at £129.50 for rabbits and guinea pigs or £144.04 for dogs, cats and horses.
