Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has revealed she was in so much pain during her recent labour that she thought she was 'going to explode'.
The actress, who plays Rosie Webster in the soap, gave birth to daughter Delilah in June this year, and claims that although her birth was quicker than the labour she had with first daughter Matilda, it was extremely painful.
She also added that the birth was so quick her fiancé, Scott Sinclair, almost missed it.
Speaking in the most recent issue of OK! Magazine, the 28-year-old said: "I felt very anxious during my pregnancy about giving birth naturally, so I had mentioned to Scott that I'd like a Caesarean section - but when I read that there is a six-week recovery time, I realised it was unrealistic with Matilda to look after too.

"I opted for a water birth instead, which I loved. Luckily, my labour went really well although it was much more painful than my first birth. At points I felt like I was about to explode because the contractions were so intense."
Speaking about the speed of the birth, she added: "Delilah's birth was so quick - Scott almost missed it."
Delilah arrived just after Helen got engaged to the 29-year-old footballer during a family trip to Disneyland Paris in May, after nine years together.

However, the couple haven't started planning their wedding just yet. Helen said: "We haven't booked anything but we're aiming for next summer. I'm super girlie and I've dreamt about my wedding since I was young, so I've already been wedding dress shopping."
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram with Scott sharing a snap of him getting down on one knee at Disneyland in front of Cinderella's Castle.
Declaring that she'd accepted his proposal, Scott exclaimed: "She said YES!" adding ring and love heart emojis to his announcement.
