Paul Elliot has revealed that his brother Barry - who sadly passed away last Sunday at the age of 73 after a battle with bone cancer - had kept his illness a secret from his family and friends.
Appearing on This Morning, the ChuckleVision star explained: "He kept it from me, and he kept it from out manager, Phil."He didn't want us to know, because we would have said 'No'. But he wanted to work until he died."
Paul added: "He actually wanted to die on-stage like Tommy Cooper.

"You know, he just loved working, loved making people laugh. He was just a lovely guy."
Paul said that Barry had had pains in legs for around two years - but his brother kept telling him that it was juts sciatica.
"That's what he kept telling me it was for two years," Paul said.
In the heartbreaking interview, Paul also discussed his and Barry's famous catchphrase 'To me, to you', as host Eamonn Holmes asked: "It was actually about furniture removal wasn't it?"

Paul agreed: "Yeah, we didn't mean for it to be a catchphrase... it just happened."
Many viewers found themselves in tears watching Paul's shock admission.

The sad news of Barry's death was announced by his manager in a statement on 5 August.

"The family would like to express their thanks to the many people who have been fans of the Chuckle Brothers and they know that they will share in part the great, great loss they feel."
Paul added: "I've not just lost my brother, I've lost my theatrical partner of many, many years and my very best friend."
Their older brother, Jimmy Patton, 86, told the Sun that the family were 'devastated' and explained: "Barry had bone cancer which had spread to his lungs.

"He was ill for years, but kept it hidden. We knew about it, but kept it quiet, and all the family are really hurting right now."
