It's time to "slay all day" because you can now watch every single episode ever of Buffy on Facebook's new digital streaming platform.

Fans of the vampy franchise will be able to stream Buffy, Angel and Firefly for free on Facebook Watch as the social media site has teamed up with 20th Century Fox to bring back cult classics for its users.

Facebook has acquired the rights to the collection, meaning you and your mates can simultaneously watch a video together (or on your own) by holding a 'Watch Party'.

So if you're ready for a huge Buffy The Vampire Slayer binge-watch this festive season, there's a total of 144 episodes to feast your eyes on from the franchise.

Sarah Michelle-Gellar aka Buffy herself announced the news over on her own Facebook page with a short video.

"Grab Mr. pointy and your Scooby gang: Every episode of @Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Series is now available on Facebook Watch!" shared the actress in the caption.

She continued: "If you and your friends watch it, does it mean you're all my Watchers now? Whatevs - Get ready to slay all day!"

Fans of the saga went wild for the announcement, with one exclaiming: "This is one of the best things I've seen all day... I am so excited and grateful!!!"

Another added: "Yaaaaaaay! I've been a fan for 21 years and have just started watching all the episodes again. It never gets old!"

While the new addition to Facebook Watch is only available to watch in the US, fans of the franchise suggested using VPNs for those outside of the States.

And as others pointed out, you're also able to watch the entire series on Amazon Prime or Hulu.

Facebook Watch has been up and running in the US for well over a year but only recently launched in the UK just a couple of months ago.
