Remember the one where the gang see how long they can throw a ball without dropping it?

n the digital era, the pleasures of playing an physical game have been almost forgotten. But don't you think there's something fun about gathering your nearest together for a few hours of screen-free fun?

Well Friends agrees too, and that's why someone has just invented a game inspired by the episode 'The One With The Ball', where Joey and Ross continually throw a ball back and forth without dropping it.

Available for just £14.99, players compete with each other to see how long they can throw the ball between them through five rounds, with fifty challenges thrown in. As the game gains momentum, even harder challenges will threaten your technique, all named after famous Friends moments including 'You Ate My Sandwich', 'Occupation? Dinosaur' and 'Monica, Monica, Have A Happy Hanukkah'.

The game is inspired by the episode in which Joey and Ross keep the ball airborne for a record time. After four hours of ball-throwing, Monica joins in and makes the game a whole lot more competitive. Even Chandler, with his reputation as a "dropper", gets involved. The game continues on until the next day when Phoebe, unaware what's actually been transpiring overnight, simply catches it and places it down on the table. *Gasps*.

Suitable for players aged 12 and upwards, The One With The Ball is recommended for between two to four players, and we reckon it sounds like the perfect distraction for all these rainy days we've been having lately.

The game is so popular it's already sold out on Very.co.uk, but stocks are expected to be replenished on 6th September so be sure to note the date in your diaries. You can also check out Argos to see if the game is available in your area.

People over on Facebook are already getting excited about buying this for their loved ones as a Christmas present, with others tagging their friends and saying it would be great "for drinks night."

This isn't the only Friends-themed game on the market - just last year the people behind the hit sitcom released a Monopoly board game which lets players stop off at some of the most popular locations from the show. (We imagine this caused many-a family feud).

And not forgetting Friends LEGO which was announced just last week. In the words of Janice: OH MY GOD.

Looks like we've not got another game to add to the collection!
