American Horror Story is one of the most petrifying series to have ever existed. Granted, I don't end up watching most of the shows because I spend half of the time hiding behind my hands or the sofa as all the scary stuff kicks off.

If you are not a big scaredy cat like I am, you can now apply to star on the super popular show. Maybe it won't be so horrifying behind the scenes, right?

Omaze experiences are offering one lucky winner AND a friend the chance to hang on the top secret set. The winner will also score a walk-on role in a new episode. Sounds like an amazing opportunity.

You'll be able to get to know the real Evans Peters over lunch too. If that wasn't quite enough, you'll be flown out to LA, and put up into a 4-star hotel. They had me at free lunch TBH.

The campaign reads: "American Horror Story is back, and this time it's scary because it's real. Especially for you! You're headed to the closed-off, confidential set to meet the cast and get a firsthand peek of what they're up to.

"Plus, you'll get extra one-on-one time with Evan Peters as you and your friend bond with him over lunch and ask him all your burning questions.

"YOU are getting a walk-on role in an upcoming episode of the show! Sit in hair and makeup, listen for your cue and then... action. Join the most fearless cast in television and be a part of it all as they continue to make TV creepier than it's ever been."

The experience is part of a campaign supporting the L.A children's hospital, making it an extremely worthy cause.

The base entry costs $10 (£7.72), and the more you donate, the more likely you are to win the competition. A $25 (£19.30) donation gives you 250 entries to win, and a $7,000 (£5403.30) gives you 70,000 entries. You can also get rewards for yourself with your donation such as signed scripts, or they can pay for vital cancer research or clinical trials.

"When you support this campaign, you'll be helping Children's Hospital Los Angeles create hope and build healthier futures by delivering compassionate medical care to sick and injured children," explains Omaze.

There are 18 days left of the campaign, so act fast if you want to be part of it. All you need is to be over 18 and have a valid U.K passport.

Great, now I'm going to have nightmares. Thanks AHS.
