A teaser for Apple TV+'s much anticipated new show, starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon has been released.

The Morning Show was first announced in September 2017, and will aim to humorously reveal the drama that goes on in a morning newsroom, as inspired by journalist Brian Stelter's book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.

Now, Apple has dropped its first teaser for the series - and it's naturally sent fans wild.

While the trailer doesn't actually show any of the actors, their voices can be heard as a camera winds through the hallway of a newsroom.

"Don't you ever question my integrity," Jennifer's character can be heard saying. "We're doing things my way".

"I feel like the people are screaming for an honest conversation," Steve's character then chimes in.

As Reese's distinctive voice can be heard saying: "I think they want to know the person behind the anchor. They want to trust that the person who is telling them the truth about the world is an honest person".

Discussing the show back in March, Jennifer said that they were hoping to show the "power dynamics between men and women in the high stakes world of morning news shows."

Jennifer and Reese are set to play "ambitious, aspirational female characters," while Steve will play a male anchor at the centre of the #metoo and #TimesUp movement.

While the trailer doesn't give much away, it is already causing a stir online, seeing as Jennifer hasn't starred on a TV series since Friends ended in 2004, nor Steve since The Office in 2011.

People also can't wait to see Reese and Jennifer acting together again after the Legally Blonde star appeared as Rachel's little sister for two episodes of Friends' sixth season. (Who could forget the iconic Amy Green?)

The pair are also both acting as executive producers on the exciting new project, which we know is going to be incredible, as it has already been renewed for a second series.

The series is the first from Apple's new film and TV streaming service, AppleTV+, and is set to air this autumn.

While there is undeniable hype surrounding it, this means it will unfortunately only be available for those who have an Apple device equipped with an Apple TV app.
