Love Island's shock dumping has forced show bosses to extend Thursday night's (27th June) episode by 15 minutes as producers ramp up the drama.

Unbeknown to Islanders, viewers have been voting for their favourite couple, while the pair with the least number of votes is at risk of being dumped from the Villa.

Presenter Caroline Flack, 38, will shock contestants by arriving to the Villa in dramatic fashion during tonight's Full Moon-inspired party to deliver some bad news for two of the Islanders.

It is thought the results are so dramatic that the show will now end at 10.15pm and will push ITV2 series Shopping with Keith Lemon back by 15 minutes.

"Islanders, I'm sure you're all wondering why I'm here," Caroline begins. "I've got some very important news for you. "The public have been voting for their favourite couple. Three couples have been saved by the public.

"The remaining Islanders are all at risk of being dumped tonight. I'm now going to reveal the three couples who are safe and will continue their stay on the Island."

With the hopefuls gathered nervously around the fire pit, Caroline reveals that the Islanders must decide who stays and who goes out of the remaining Islanders.

"You are all vulnerable. Two of you will leave the Island tonight. That decision is not down to the public. That decision is down to your fellow Islanders."

The news comes amid reports that rival villa Casa Amor will return this year to test the couples' relationships.

Usually, the boys are whisked away to the villa for a few days, where they are usually faced with a group of stunning ladies to test their loyalties, while the girls get a few new lads to tempt them.

Well, as luck has it Casa Amor could be returning for 2019 with as many as twelve gorgeous single to 'turn heads' among the Islanders.

Angela Jain, a Love Island boss, told the paper: "What we do in terms of format twists - as this is ongoing casting - we're trying to mirror real life and relationships do get tested, that's entirely normal.

"So we will test them and the Islanders are fully aware their relationships will get tested.

"We will do that because that's the expectation for the audience and the islanders."

If true, the boys relocation to Casa Amor is sure to test things in a big way.

Usually, as the boys relocate, the girls stay at the Love Island villa with no contact whatsoever, except for when the Love Island bosses decide to send them (usually highly incriminating) photos and video footage of the boys with the new girls.

As per the usual format, the girls will be joined by new boy arrivals too, and then the couples will decide whether to recouple with one of the new Islanders, or stay loyal.

We have a feeling it's going to be an explosive few days in the Villa.
