Tommy And Molly-Mae Branded ‘Love Island’ Winners After Last Night’s Recoupling

One of the most emotional moments of last night was watching Tommy and Molly-Mae, and the moment has made them seem like winners already.

Phew, we feel emotionally exhausted after last night's episode of Love Island - and we don't believe anyone who says they didn't shed a tear when Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague finally reunited.

The adorable recoupling made the whole nation cry - and led to Tommy and Molly-Mae being branded the show's real winners.

The pair had one of the cutest moments of the show, with Molly-Mae walking back in to the villa looking nervous - before promptly bursting into floods of tears when she realised Tommy had decided to stick with her.

The 20-year-old influencer had become convinced that Tommy had found someone else when she saw that her stuffed elephant was no longer on their bed - so when she saw the boxer holding the cuddly toy and standing on his own, she broke down in tears.

The emotional reaction nearly set off Caroline Flack herself and other contestants, including Lucie and Maura could be seen wiping away their tears. The couple then shared a heartfelt embrace, and were clearly delighted to be back together.

Fans of the show were quick to deem Tommy and Molly-Mae the 'real winners' of the show after other previously stable couples Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill, and Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart, didn't stand up to the test of Casa Amor.

The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby Norris tweeted: "Tonight I think we've just seen Tommy and Molly win the show..".

Other fans gushed: "TOMMY AND MOLLY REUNITING HAD ME IN F*CKING TEARS OMG JUST GIVE MY WINNERS THEIR MONEY AND GET THEM OUT THAT TOXIC VILLA SO THEY CAN LIVE THEIR LIVES HAPPILY", and "when molly started crying because she didn't see ellie belly on the bed but realised tommy was holding it, ladies and gentlemen your 2019 winners".

There's still a few weeks to go till we find out who wins the show, and as we've seen from last night, anything can happen - but for now, it's looking like Tommy and Molly-Mae are certainly the frontrunners for the top prize.

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
