While I'm a HUGE Peaky Blinders fan, I can't help but think the show is made a little bit better when I get to see Tom Hardy on my screen.

TBF, while he is a dish, he just brings some incredible depth to any character he takes on. Alfie Solomons is definitely one of my favourite roles he's ever taken on, second only to Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

Up until last night, it had been a while since we'd seen the Jewish gang leader with our good old Tommy Shelby, but if rumours are anything to go by then there MAY be a spin-off coming in the near future, and I think you're gonna like it.

In the deep dark corners of popular online forum, Reddit, fans of the show have gathered to the Peaky Blinders subreddit to discuss their prayers for an Alfie Solomons spin-off, and I am definitely on board with this.

User SimpleMe94 commented: "I've been weighing this idea for a while now and I think it might be a real possibility; given Peaky Blinder's rising popularity, Tom Hardy's rising popularity as an actor and Alfie Solomon's popularity as a character (he's arguably even more talked about by fans than Tommy Shelby himself). It would likely, just like PB, be six or less episodes too which would fit perfectly with Hardy's busy schedule.

"I absolutely love the idea of a spin-off (or prequel, if Alfie dies this season) featuring Camden Town as the new Small Heath and exploring the dynamics of the Jewish mafia. Also being able to delve a lot more into Alfie's personal life and understand who he really is as a person."

Many Redditors responded to his idea, saying how brilliant it would be to see further into Alfie and develop it further, but there's some fans of the show that argue some things are just best left alone - and Tom's schedule at the moment is also WAY too busy to even consider adding something else on.

TBF though, all good things have to come to an end, and when Peaky Blinders does decide its time is up - this is definitely a brilliant option. I'm sure if we all shout loud enough about it, then the producers will hear our Tom Ha..*cough* Alfie Solomons based prayers and make this dream a reality.
