Tom Hardy Is Going To Be In A New Film On Netflix And We're Hyped

We all love a Tom Hardy movie and with that in mind we've got some very exciting news: he's going to be starring in a brand new film and it's going to be on Netflix and we absolutely can't wait! Huzzah!

So far very, very few details about the film have been released. All we know is that it's going to be a war movie based on real-life events and titled War Party. Tom will play a decorated Navy Seal who is sent on a life-or-death mission.

The film is being made by Alien director Ridley Scott's production company, Scott Free Productions. They're the same people who produced Taboo on BBC One, which also starred Tom, so we wouldn't be surprised if the film was similar in tone and style to the BBC series, albeit with a completely different setting.

Netflix has won big by bagging the rights to this one, apparently beating out the likes of Universal, Amazon, and Lionsgate.

This isn't the first war film that Tom has starred in. His career got off to a good start when he was given a role in Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down and later this year he'll be starring alongside Harry Styles in Dunkirk, a new film about D-Day directed by Christopher Nolan which is due to be released on 21st July:

Safe to say, we're very excited about the actor's latest project and we're sure it'll be an absolute must-watch when we finally get to see it!

What do you think? Are you excited to see Tom in another war movie or do you wish he'd do something a bit different? Sound off in the comments!
