This Snow White Theory Will Change The Way You Watch The Film Forever

One Disney fan has come up with a theory about Snow White that will probably change the way you watch the movie forever.

The 1937 film was Disney's first full length animated movie, and is a firm favourite among Disney fans, but this latest conspiracy theory will give it a really dark twist.

The theory was shared online by a man called Matt Morgan.

He claims that Snow White's prince is not actually a prince but is the angel of death and it is freaking us out.

He starts his explanation by pointing out that when Snow White and her prince first meet the princess is acting carelessly near to a well and the prince appears to see what she was up to, meaning he could have been waiting for her to fall in.

But it gets darker - when Snow White spots the prince, she runs back into the castle. Our innocent minds thought she could've just been shy but this theory suggests that she actually had her first glimpse of death.

After the first meeting, Snow White sends the prince a white dove which apparently represents the soul flying free from the body.

Not even the final scene where the prince finally kisses Snow White is safe.

Matt's theory claims that he is actually giving her the kiss of death as he is riding a white horse - the same colour horse death rides in myths and legends.

The Prince's romantic kiss appears to wake Snow White up, but if you go off Matt's theory the smooch is actually the Prince giving Snow White the chance to say goodbye to the seven dwarfs before disappearing into the sunset together.

So instead of whisking Snow White off to her happily ever after ending, the Prince could be taking her to meet her fate, which ruins the whole fairytale.

Lots of other fans have agreed with Matt's theory, and one said: "I feel like she died. I feel as though she went to heaven. Her prince carried her there. I mean she bit a poisoned apple."

Another added: "Love this movie but if you look at it, the castle is in the sky, in the clouds, so she is going to heaven."

Thankfully, not everyone agrees with this dark twist, and some users are desperately trying to keep the fairytale alive.

One commented: "She didn't die and go to heaven. The Queen herself said 'the victim of the sleeping death can be revived only by love's first kiss'. It is an interesting theory and all, well put together, but nothing more."

We'll stick to believing in the happy ending.
