If you're looking for a new podcast to scare the heebie-jeebies out of you, then look no further than Limetown.

The podcast, which is now in its second series, follows a journalist called Lia Haddock, who's investigating the mysterious disappearance of an entire small town.

It is of course fictional, but it's enough to send a shiver down anyone's spine so we couldn't recommend listening in the dark.

The investigations by Lia get spookier with every episode, but what is series two all about?

*Warning, this may contain spoilers from series one*

By the end of series one, Lia also found herself unexplainably abducted and it's thought season two will try and track down the investigative journalist.

However, one Reddit user is convinced they've already cracked the code, and it includes the creepy Charlie figure.

"Whoever Charlie is, she's got some serious investigative and security related chops," one listener suggested.

However, another argues that Lia could actually be the only survivor of Limetown, but that she's simply had her memory wiped.

Anyone who's listened to the first season will know that this could be fairly accurate considering the way her interviewees spoke to her - they didn't sound like conversations between a journalist and people she'd never met before.

The user goes on to remind us that Lia has a 'I have heard the future' badge, which is potentially the most suspicious clue of all.

"Deirdre mentioned Oscar gave these out at the opening reception in Limetown. How else could Lia get one then, unless she was there?"

That's a pretty important point, however this Reddit user isn't the only person who's trying to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Students at Blue Hill School in Nebraska, US have put pen to whiteboard to have a go at a bit of problem solving.

"Making connections for the podcast, Limetown," the school tweeted.
