A new makeover show Drag SOS airs tomorrow and it's already being compared to the hit Queer Eye.

Landing on screens at 10pm on Tuesday, 25th June, the series sees six Manchester drag queens - known as the Family Gorgeous - travel around the country to help people struggling with confidence issues.

The official synopsis reads: "Drag collective the Family Gorgeous help unlikely protégées to unlock their long-lost confidence and become bolder, braver drag-enhanced versions of themselves - all with a generous splash of glitter."

The troupe includes 'head of the family' Cheddar - a university anthropologist by day and drag queen by night.

In the first episode, queen Liquorice Black takes on a student wanting to overcome her body image worries while Anna Phylactic helps a father understand his budding drag artist son.

And if the show's trailer is anything to go by, we're in for a treat. The clip features the stars emerging from a glitzy tour bus as they belt out their own version of 'God Save Our Queen.'

"God save all gracious queens, long live all noble queens, God save all queens. Reveal our inner strength and give us confidence, together we're glorious,' the squad can be heard singing, as members of the public receive dramatic transformations.

With some seriously heart-warming endings on the cards, it's no surprise comparisons are being drawn.

"FABULOUS promo for #DragSOS... So many fabulous faces! xo Queer Eye w/ drag queens! Yes please!" tweeted another drag queen Crystal Lubrikunt.

"It was surprising just how open the British public are to drag. I had a few questions about my gender, but overall people weren't too fussed," dthe show's only female drag queen TeTe told Attitude magazine.

"They'd just smile at the sight of these larger-than-life characters walking around their town."
