This Morning viewers were sent on an emotional rollercoaster today when the daytime programme relived some of its real tear-jerker moments in celebration of its 30th birthday.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were sent down memory lane when they introduced the montage that highlighted some of the more serious issues that the programme has covered over the years.

Introducing the clips, Holly said: "Now we have a lot of fun on this show, but we've also tackled some tough subjects."
