Believe it or not the end is near and the final season of HBO's Game of Thrones is set to hit screens all over Westeros this month. But what if you haven't watched the series or need a reminder of the finer details of the plot of series one to seven? If you have a job, social life or need to use the toilet from time to time, you probably don't have time to get through all the previous 67 episodes. But don't worry. There's now a 12-minute recap to help you refresh and ready yourself for the end.

The people over at ScreenCrush have delivered what you need: a full and informative recap of all seven seasons that won't take you until April 14th to get through.

Yes, if you aren't up to date then be warned: the video is jam-packed with spoilers that could leave you reeling. But if you're determined to enjoy season eight in real time then this is the best way to do it.

Game of Thrones newbies note: they've chosen not to revisit a lot of characters deaths because they insist that there's no point.

Up to speed? Good. Now check out the trailer for season eight and get excited. Here's what we know.

The 2-minute trailer opens with a monologue from Arya, features plenty of glimpses of the Daenerys' dragons, some longing looks between Dany and Jon Snow and a glimpse at the epic final battle scene.

In March fans thought a new poster, featuring Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington), teased his fate due to him posing in the same pose to Ned Stark (played by Sean Bean), who died in season one.

Co-executive producer, Bryan Cogman, teased the final episodes, which will have the show's most extra battle yet.

He said: "It's about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death."

Actors Maisie Williams (who plays Arya Stark) and Iain Glen (who plaus Ser Jorah Mormont) revealed that the "gruelling" shoot for the show left them "broken" and "miserable".

Could this sequence be the moment when Maisie's character sees a dragon for the first time?

Another theory that's doing the rounds predicts that Cersei (played by Lena Headey) could be the unlikely saviour of Westeros in a fight that could see Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hempstead Wright) revealed as the show's true villain.

Time will tell.

Game of Thrones airs on HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14th.
