The 'Most terrifying Film Of 2017' Is Now Available On Netflix

If you're into horror films then you're in luck as It Comes At Night, which was dubbed the "most terrifying movie of 2017", is now available on Netflix.

The Trey Edward Shults directed flick, which received 87 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes, stars Joel Edgerton and Carmen Ejogo as couple Paul and Sarah.

The heart-pounding film follows the couple and their teenage son Travis (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), who have secluded themselves in their woodland home when a highly contagious outbreak wreaks havoc on the world.

As the virus causes chaos, the family have no choice but to navigate life in the aftermath of the disease which has wiped out a staggering portion of the world's population.

And in typical horror film fashion, the flick features several anxiety-inducing twists and turns as the family are forced to make a tough decision when another family shows up seeking help.

Girls actor Christopher Abbott plays Will, the patriarch of the second family man, who breaks into their house looking for food for his wife (Riley Keough) and young son.

Despite initially warming to the second family, Paul soon becomes paranoid of the new additions and worries that they are potentially the disease.

Things become even more anxiety-inducing when the audience learn that Will and Kim's child has a habit of sleepwalking and teen Travis forms a friendship with Kim.

The slow-building thriller was branded "extremely creepy" by cinema fans when it was released, who couldn't catch their breath during the suspense-filled film.

However, lovers of gore may be a little disappointed with the movie as it's very much a psychological horror.

Want to find out if 2017's most terrifying film is really spine-tingling as it's billed? Watch It Comes At Night on Netflix now.
