AppleTV+ has unveiled the first full-length trailer for The Morning Show, giving us a proper glimpse of Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in their new roles for the first time.

The Morning Show was first announced in September 2017, and will aim to humorously reveal the drama that goes on in a morning newsroom, as inspired by journalist Brian Stelter's book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.

And while the first clip, released last week, teased viewers with nothing but a behind the scenes look at the newsroom and the voiceovers of the famous cast, the new full trailer shows all three big stars in character.

In the official trailer, Jennifer's character Karen Kesslercan is seen addressing the audience from her anchor's desk, and announcing some "sad and upsetting news" - that her co-anchor and husband Mitch, played Steve Carell, has been fired over sexual misconduct allegations.

Mitch is then seen furiously smashing up a TV set as he watches his career come to an end, before sobbing: "My life just ended for no good reason".

The trailer also offers us a proper look at Reese Witherspoon's character Bradley Jackson, who has been brought into the newsroom because Jennifer is past her "sell-by date".

It hints that Karen will struggle with the arrival of the fresh new talent, as she is seen sobbing: "You stole my life. You left me in the woods with a pack of wolves".

Discussing the show back in March, Jennifer said that they were hoping to show the "power dynamics between men and women in the high stakes world of morning news shows."

The show is already causing a stir online, seeing as Jennifer hasn't starred on a TV series since Friends ended in 2004, nor Steve since The Office in 2011.

People also can't wait to see Reese and Jennifer acting together again after the Legally Blonde star appeared as Rachel's little sister for two episodes of Friends' sixth season. (Who could forget the iconic Amy Green?)

The pair are also both acting as executive producers on the exciting new project - which we know is going to be incredible, as it has already been renewed for a second series.

The show is the first big hit in the works from Apple's new film and TV streaming service, AppleTV+, and is set to air this autumn.

While there is undeniable hype surrounding it, this means it will unfortunately only be available for those who have an Apple device equipped with an Apple TV app.
