A contestant on The Chase made history as she scooped the highest prize ever won by a solo player, rendering host Bradley Walsh speechless.
Charity volunteer Judith from Cambridgeshire went head to head with Jenny Ryan (aka The Vixen) on her own in a chase which saw the contestant walk away with £70,000.

She won 20 steps and managed to consistently push Jenny back through the show.
As she won, host Bradley declared: "Extraordinary, £70,000. Highest figure ever won by a solo player, sensational."
He rushed over to give Judith a hug to congratulate her on the epic win, exclaiming: "I've never seen anything like it."
Jenny accepted her defeat graciously, saying: "Wow, what a high class quizzer Judith is. Just killing me on the push backs.

"Total class. I have never done this before, but I have to give you a standing ovation, Judith. That was incredible."
As The Chase episode aired, The Vixen also wrote on Twitter: "I've been awaiting the broadcast of this episode... Judith is such a memorable contestant! #TheChase.
"ALL HAIL JUDITH! If I remember correctly, Judith was a standby contestant, and only found out she was on the show 24 hours before recording. I was well and truly beaten."

Fans of The Chase were quick to congratulate Judith on her epic win with a flurry of messages on Twitter.
"Judith on The Chase, UNREAL," declared one.
While another added: "Judith just smashed it on The Chase! What a legend! 70k single winner!"
Following all the messages, Judith tweeted: "Just to say thank you all for the support and kind words. Obviously it was a great experience but thank you to Jenny and Bradley for their kind words."
