Jay first came to the attention of programme makers after building up a list of high-profile clientele at his Adrenaline Tattoo Studio in Ellesmere Port, which he opened at the age of 21.

His work also went viral on Twitter after an impressive back piece featuring Floyd Mayweather was shared online by the world champion himself.

Jay was one of the original trio on the show who turned regrettable tattoos into masterpieces at a pop-up parlour in Hackney.

The show initially started out as a pilot series but due to its popularity it ended up smashing audience rating records.

Jay also featured on several TV programmes including panel show, Virtually Famous with Jimmy Carr.

He also went on to be a judge on E4's Tattoo Artist of the Year which searched the country for to find the best tattooist.
