Strictly Viewers Fume at Seann Walsh For 'Laughing Off' Cheating Drama

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left fuming at Seann Walsh for apparently 'laughing off' the recent kissing scandal.

Seann and dance partner Katya Jones were the latest couple to be axed from the dancing show last night, but some viewers were left less than impressed with his exit speech.

As he exited the show on Sunday, the comedian described the competition as being 'the best experience of his life', barring 'the last few weeks'.

Three weeks into the competition, Seann and Katya were spotted kissing after a night out together, which led to the comedian's then girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, publicly dumping him on Twitter.

At the time, fans of the show called for the pair to be dropped, so plenty of viewers were 'thrilled' with the results of last night's dance off.

Speaking to Tess Daly after being voted off the show, Seann said: "When you watch it and hear people at the end say this has been the best experience in my life, I don't think you don't really believe, but this has been without a doubt the best experience of my life, probably bar the last few weeks.

"But generally speaking from the beginning it really was. I can't believe it, it's been amazing."

However, a number of fans slammed Seann's comments, accusing him of 'laughing off' cheating on his girlfriend.

One user wrote: "Aw Seann's going. That's a shame. Sorry I meant relief."

Another added: "That's right Seann Walsh, make a joke about the fact you both sh*t on your partners."

However, some viewers were disappointed to see Seann's exit, and commented that he was the better dancer that weekend.

One user wrote: "Judges took their chance to get rid of Seann and Katya first opportunity they got, ridiculous they were by far the better dancers! They're only supposed to be judged on their dancing [sic]."

Katya also made their exit a little bit more awkward by thanking Seann for his 'commitment' to her during the competition.

She said: "It wasn't easy but thank you for your commitment every single day.

"We did twelve hours, it was amazing and I'm so proud of you from day one when you couldn't get your right from your left and now delivering dances like that that.

"Thanks for making me laugh a lot."
