Everyone was left REELING after Game Of Throne's spectacular season 7 ending, (and if you're not up to date with the series then this article is definitely not for you - as the night is dark and full of spoilers) but we have all been left a little bit in the lurch over when we're finally going to see what happens to Westeros.
Some rumours have said next year, others have claimed 2019 and some outright HORRID rumours have suggested 2022. I don't know about you but it the latter truly is the case then I will physically march to the wall myself (or to some Hollywood office and give David Benioff and D.B Weiss a piece of my mind).
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) recently did an interview with Variety, and she finally confirmed the official release date for the final series of our fave show. "I'm really excited."
She told Variety "Game of Thrones comes out in 2019." UGH. I mean, it's not 2022 so we can chill a little bit, but still - two whole years away?! Last time I wished away my life was when I wanted to hurry up and turn 18, I didn't think after I turned legal to drink I'd need to do it again.
She's claimed the production is about 'a tenth of the way through' and they still have at least another eight/nine months left of filming before the project is completed. She also discussed how emotional it's been reading through the ending of the show with her castmates.
"When we all had the read-through for the final season, it was very, very emotional", Sophie claimed. "For the first time in Thrones history, we had everyone there. All of the Americans wanted to come over. Every single cast member was pretty much there.
"We're all kind of feeling the end of it coming. We're all staying in town a little longer, going out for more meals, trying to get together more. We're all trying not to take it for granted any more."

Season Eight is coming, and so is the end of our times in the Thrones universe.
Well, unless George R.R. Martin decides to finally write the last book, or until we sink our teeth into the new spin-offs.
