There's nothing we love more than transporting ourselves back to the nostalgic nineties with a good old binge on Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but what would it look like if Will Smith's life got turned upside down in 2019?

Well, thankfully we don't have to imagine it because someone's made a trailer for a Fresh Prince remake set in 2019 and it's pretty heavy...

With Jerry Madison stepping in to play Will Smith, the remake trailer begins with Will shooting some hoops, just like in the original.

Will then gets himself into a fight with a couple of other guys - who we'd assume were up to no good and making trouble in his neighbourhood - before getting arrested for gun possession.

This prompts Will's mum to send him out to Bel Air in Los Angeles to stay with his uncle Phil's family, as we all know.

The trailer then features a beautiful series of clips showing Will adjusting to his newfound life with his family and friends.

Morgan Cooper, the director, writer and cinematographer of the short film tweeted his inspiration behind the trailer, telling followers: "Like most 90's kids, I grew up watching Fresh Prince. Even as a kid, I always thought there was more to the story... so I decided to make this."

As you can imagine, Twitter erupted in response to the clever remake, with many people suggesting Netflix should take him up and create a whole new series.

Come on, Netflix. This could be incredible.
