Mindhunter season two could see the return of serial killer Edmund Kemper if these telling comments from the actor who played the creepy character in season one of the Netflix original are anything to go by.
During an interview with Radio Times, Cameron Britton was asked if he will star on season two of the crime series. And while the actor didn't exactly confirm or deny it directly, this is what he had to say: "Netflix pulls those memories out of me. I hope I'm in it and I can't remember, it's a blind spot." Cryptic.
It's unclear in what capacity Kemper will feature if he does return, but it could well mean that agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench will be calling on him for help in their investigations. Fans already know that FBI Behavioural Science team, led by the enigmatic Ford, will be looking at Charles Manson murders.

Cameron was nominated for an Emmy in 2018 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of the serial killer.
Kemper was a real life serial killer and necrophile who murdered ten people, including his paternal grandparents, and Cameron's portrayal of him was seriously chilling.
And given that earlier this year the actor again skipped around confirming a season two appearance, it seems like Netflix and Mindhunter producers are keen to keep the plot details locked down for now.
He again cryptically told TV Guide in June that he was not sure if he would appear in season two.

"There are so many serial killers that the guys at the FBI have to interview," Britton explained.
Before season one even finished, the streaming giant commissioned a second for Mindhunter and it's set for release later this year.
In the meantime, you can stream season one of Mindhunter on Netflix.
