Warning - spoilers ahead for the Game of Thrones finale.
Game of Thrones fans are picking up on the incredible hidden meanings behind Sansa Stark's final costume and hair - and what they've spotted will probably have you feeling emotional.
The finale thankfully didn't kill off Sansa - she instead told Bran she wouldn't bend the knee to him and returned to Winterfell to become Queen of the North.

But fans have noticed some incredible details, and it's all to do with Sansa's hair.
In Sophie Turner's final scene as Sansa, the character wore her hair down and natural, whereas fans have grown used to seeing her with elaborate braids emulating others- something which Sophie previously pointed out was no coincidence.
"Sansa's hair is constantly reflecting the people she's learning from or mimicking or inspired by at the time," she told Refinery29 in 2017. "When she's Cersei's prisoner and she's kind of absorbing all her manipulative techniques, it's reflected in her hairstyle, and when she's finding the spirit of Margaery in herself, she wears her hair like Margaery."

But in her last Game of Thrones scene, Sansa was just being her own independent self rather than being influenced by somebody else.
One fan said: "For the first time, Sansa's hair is her own. Sansa's hair is usually copying what she saw other people do as a political statement. Now, in her own power, her hair is simply hers. She no longer needs to imitate anyone. She is #SANSA."

"Sansa's hair has always been so important. always modeled after someone she is trying to emulate and for it to end with it just natural and down ... she is ... herself... her own independent ruler," echoed somebody else.
But that's not all either, as the rest of Sansa's outfit was also riddled with hidden meanings.
As one Tumblr user points out: "Ok, real talk here, Sansa honored all her family in her clothes. The Weirwood represented Bran, the one-sided cloak was for Arya, the black of the cloak was Jon, the scaly pattern of the arm was her Mother, the crown was Robb, the sewing needle was herself, the tufts of black fur and unruliness of the cloak was Rickon, and finally the color of her gown was grey to honor her Father's house and her entire ancestry.
