Queens, it is finally time to get excited as the official line up for season 11 of RuPaul's Drag Race has been revealed and this time there are 15 contestants.

That's right, 15 new queens who will be battling it out to be crowned America's Next Drag Superstar.

Judging by their promo shots for the new series every queen looks 100 per cent ready to start their engines and sashay away.

The new lineup was announced on VH1's YouTube by Aquaria and Adam Rippon and it looks amazing so let's introduce you to the latest queens.

A'Keria C. Davenport refers to herself as 'The Ruler' and is from Texas. The 30-year-old has been awarded Miss Black Universe and Miss International Vogue.

She also classes Drag Race All Stars 3 runner-up Kennedy Davenport and the late Sahara Davenport as her drag aunts, and fellow contestant Honey as her cousin. She refers to herself as "The Ruler", so we can't wait to see what this queen comes up with.

Ariel Versace is 26 and from New Jersey, and already has a massive online presence, which is unusual for Drag Race contestants.

She currently has 120k followers on Instagram and is known by drag fans for her YouTube makeup tutorials and colourful array of wigs.

From Tennessee is Brooke Lynn Hytes who is also the first Canadian queen to appear on the show.

The 32-year-old has previously won the title of Miss Continental and was also a professional ballerina for over 10 years.

NYC-based performer Honey Davenport is also joining the competition. She is the drag mother of Monét X Change, niece of Kennedy and Sahara, cousin of fellow contestant A'Keria, and was also raised by Manila Luzon.

So it is no surprise that she's a respected performer in the NYC drag scene and is well known for her high-energy lip-syncs.

Kahanna Montrese is also a nice surprise for the line up. If you haven't already guessed a lot of the queens have links to previous competitors.

Hopefully the 25-year-old from Las Vegas will have lip sync skills like her mother Coco's.

Merecedes Iman Diamon from Minneapolis is the show's first ever Muslim contestant and has said she is going to give viewers 'everything' this season.

She has various pageant wins at Miss Gay 90's and Miss City of the Lakes, as well as serving as second alternate to Miss Minnesota Continental.

Nina west from Ohio is one of the most well-known drag performers in the USA. She finally gained her spot on the show after nine auditions.

She is an actress, activist and performance artist, and is best known for her old school camp aesthetic.

Plastique Tiara from Texas is one of the most followed non-Drag Race queens on Instagram, with over 228k followers.

The 21-year-old describes herself as "Asian Barbie" and is a member of the Haus of Edward. Plastique is renowned for her makeup skills but she's been taken in by Alyssa, so she is also a performer.

Ra'jah O'Hara has no relation to Phi Phi, Eureka or Asia but she does have a link to the Davenport sisterhood.

Fellow season 11 queen A'keria has referred to Ra'jah as her "big sis". The 31-year-old has also been crowned Miss Texas FFI.

A staple in the New York drag scene Scarlet Envy has also been added to the lineup.

She graduated from NYC's Fashion Institute of Technology and once referred to herself as "the cheapest lady with the highest price tag", and said she wanted to be on Drag Race to "change the world".

Winner of Bob the Drag Queen's competition, Shuga Cain is known for her gag-worthy performances and eye-catching aesthetic.

She is also a professional baker and former triathlete- there is honestly nothing she can't do.

Silky Nutmeg Ganache has an impressive amount of titles including Miss Latina Continental Plus, Miss Unlimited Newcomer and Miss Gay Indiana University.

The queen from Illinois also has a degree in music so should shine in any music related challenges.

Known for hit YouTube series, Shot With Soju, Soju has been added to the lineup for season 11.

The series sees the 27-year-old performer from Illinois interviewing several drag contestants throughout Drag Race HERstory, she's also a blackbelt in taekwondo.

Yvie Oddly from Colorado, is known for her avant-garde style of drag, sense of humour and piercing cackle.

She likes to show audience members "something they may have never seen before".

To top the line up off Vanessa Vanjie Mateo is back after being voted off in the first episode of season 10.

But the 26-year-old from Florida is back and ready to conquer the competition.

We haven't had any information on a release date as of yet, but seeing as All Stars is still in the middle of its current season, we might have to wait a little bit longer.
