'Queer Eye' Season 3 Is Coming To Netflix In March

The 'Fab Five' are back and heading to a new town for a new season - ​and Netflix teased Carly Rae Jepsen's new song in the trailer

Brace yourself Queer Eye fans: the third season of the Netflix series officially returns this Friday.

The Emmy Award-winning Queer Eye is back to transform the stylistically challenged into into hip-and-happening savants at the hands of the 'Fab Five'.

And this season, these fearless ambassadors of taste are heading to Kansas City to bring their infectious brand of self-love, confidence and encouragement to a whole new group of heroes. And we could all do with a bit of that.

Queer Eye, is a reboot of the cult mid-2000s TV series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and has proven hugely successful, with the show winning two Primetime Emmys last year.

The series returned to Netflix in 2018 going global and introducing audiences around the world to a modern aesthetic, diverse perspectives and a brand new Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (food and wine expert), Bobby Berk (interior design guru), Jonathan Van Ness (grooming expert), Karamo Brown (culture expert) and Tan France (stylist).

Queer Eye is executive produced by David Collins, Michael Williams and Rob Eric for Scout Productions. Jennifer Lane serves as the showrunner and executive producer. David George, Adam Sher, David Eilenberg and Jordana Hochman serve as executive producers for ITV Entertainment.

Queer Eye season 3 drops on Friday, 15th March 2019 on Netflix.

And as is that weren't enough Queer Eye news to keep you going, Netflix has also announced that the Queer Eye team are flying to Japan to "work with local tastemakers to make-better a new group of heroes" while sampling the local culture.

The creator of Queer Eye, David Collins, said: "In just a year since we launched season one, Queer Eye has become a global phenomenon once again and the Fab Five are truly the ambassadors of self-care and compassion that the world needs now more than ever.

"Filming in Japan is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with four deserving heroes that will help showcase the incredible traditions and customs of their country."

The episodes, titled Queer Eye: We're in Japan!, will be available on Netflix following the third season.
