We're sure it's not Netflix's intention to give its customers sleepless nights, but that seems to be exactly what it's doing while Chambers is on the streaming service.

The series, which dropped on Friday 26th April, stars Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn as the parents of a deceased girl, whose heart has been donated to Sasha, a heart attack victim, played by Sivan Alyra Rose.

People who have started the 10-part series have taken to Twitter to tell people about how terrifying it is - and complain about their lack of shut-eye because of it.

However, some complained about a lack of sleep for an entirely different reason: to binge the whole series in one night flat.

The series starts with a young girl, Sasha (Alyra Rose), having a heart attack.

After receiving her heart transplant, Sasha and her father pay a visit to the parents of the donor (Thurman and Goldwyn), thanking their daughter, Becky, for saving her life.

The parents then explained they have endowed a scholarship in Becky's name, and offer it to Sasha, who promises to keep their daughter's memory alive.

Before long, Sasha starts having visions and developing personality traits similar to the deceased girl as she tries to investigate the suspicious circumstances around her death.

Noted: only watch when you can afford to have have a sleepless night.

Chambers is available to stream on Netflix now.
