Peaky Blinders has been back on our screens for the last few weeks, and I don't know about you, but it's been absolutely epic.

We're not going to talk about the John Shelby situation at all because it's way too soon, but can we just sit and take a minute to soak in the fact that TOM HARDY RETURNED TO OUR SCREENS LAST NIGHT.

Many viewers were extremely excited at the prospect of Alfie Solomon's return to the BBC show, but some were absolutely fuming that BBC Two had ruined the surprise for during the episode itself, as they had posted the teaser clip on their official social media pages.

Personally, I was just excited to see Tom Hardy but that's because my obsession has taken a bit of a turn for extreme. Some fans disagreed with me though, and kicked off on Twitter about how much they felt the entire show had been 'ruined' for them.

One viewer said: "Why the f*ck did that announcer just spoil tonight's show by telling us Tom hardy is in the show?"

Another commented: "Thanks @BBCTwo for ruining the fact that Tom Hardy is back in #PeakyBlinders"

One thing that did seem a pattern among viewers who COULD get over the fact that a BBC announcer gave the Alfie game away, was that they all agreed how good it was to see the Jewish gang maker back in action.
