Netflix has just dropped the latest trailer for the seventh and final season Orange Is The New Black - and it looks like it's going to be an emotional finale.

On Wednesday, the streaming service released a two-minute teaser of the upcoming series, which will hit Netflix on July 26th.

Fans get a sneak peak into how Piper (played by Taylor Schilling) is coping on the outside world in the wake of her release and it's definitely a trying time for her as she tries to get her life back on track.

And it seems that her past looms over her when a new co-worker asks if she's legally allowed to hold a bow-and-arrow during an archery lesson for their team bonding outing.

Thankfully, she has pal Sophia Burset (played by Laverne Cox) to lean on, who appears to be thriving on the outside and is ready to give a makeover at a moment's notice.

Despite having hand to hold, Piper longs for Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) still and they're seen reuniting through the glass of a visitor's room.

While everyone's life on the inside goes on without her, it becomes apparent that friendships will be formed and broken as Taystee pushes Cindy further away following her wrongful conviction of Poussey's murder.

Although emotions are running high, there seems to be moments of light as Susanne (played by Uzo Aduba) finds the chicken Red has been after since the first season.

Piper is now out of prison.

For the past six seasons, Orange is the New Black, based on a true story, has tackled some of the most difficult topics that women deal with.

In the final season, the women of Litchfield will apparently "come to terms with the fact that prison has changed them forever."

In October last year it was revealed the women's prison drama would come to an end in an emotional video featuring the cast, who promised it would go out with a bang.

Filming officially wrapped up in February, and the cast have been taking to social media to share heartfelt goodbyes to the cast and crew they've worked with for so many years.

OITNB first launched back in 2013 and quickly became Netflix's most-streamed original series, earning 12 prime time Emmy nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

The drama follows the lives of inmates at Litchfield Minimum Security Prison, before season six saw many of the characters moved to the Maximum Security Prison following a riot.

The seventh and final season of Orange Is The New Black will be available to stream on Netflix from July 26th.
