Netflix Shares Stunning Footage From David Attenborough's New Documentary

Netflix just gave fans another glimpse at Sir David Attenborough's new nature documentary, Our Planet, during the Super Bowl 2019 advert breaks.

The 30 second-long clip showed stunning footage taken from the upcoming documentary, which will hit the subscription streaming service last this year.

While there was no look at David in the teaser trailer, fans already know that he will be narrating the entire thing, and Netflix has already shared another trailer for the show, which you can watch here:

And the new video shows baby orangutans, leopards, polar bears plus more wild animals in their natural habitats. Netflix hammers home that we're all 'sharing' the same planet, showing ice caps melting with a caption that reads: "We're all on one team."

Our Planet has been a huge project for the streaming giant, as it has taken around four-years to film 50 countries across all of the world's continents.

It is also believed that over 600 members of crew worked on the documentary, and they filmed for more than 3500 days in total.

Speaking about the series David Attenborough said: "Our Planet will take viewers on a spectacular journey of discovery showcasing the beauty and fragility of our natural world. Today we have become the greatest threat to the health of our home but there's still time for us to address the challenges we've created, if we act now.

"We need the world to pay attention. Our Planet brings together some of the world's best filmmakers and conservationists and I'm delighted to help bring this important story to millions of people worldwide."

The Netflix original series Our Planet will be released on 5th April this year, and it is set to be one of the streaming service's most popular shows.

David also has two more nature documentaries being released this year on the BBC, titled One Planet, Seven Worlds and Green Planet.

Our Planet is just one of many adverts and trailers airing during Super Bowl 2019, and fans have already been treated to clips from Hulu series Handmaid's Tale, Avengers and Captain Marvel with the badass that is Brie Larson.
