Mary Berry was back on our screens on Monday night for her cooking show, Mary Berry Everyday, a masterclass in how to use the food and ingredients that she has always loved to cook with.

One of the dishes the 81-year-old decided to feature was spaghetti bolognese because everyone loves a hearty spag bol, don't they?

Double cream is a key component of Mary's spag bol, something which a lot of people weren't happy about:

But not everyone was on the same wavelength. There were those who didn't care, those who loved her take on the Italian dish, and those who highly recommended the method.

Mary Berry Everyday returns 13th March at 8:30pm on BBC Two.
