Manon Lagreve Dropped The F-Bomb On GBBO And Fans Were Outraged

The GBBO star was finding the showstopper a little challenging, and ending up swearing on telly.

Great British Bake Off viewers were outraged during Tuesday's episode, after contestant Manon Lagreve dropped the f-bomb, while frustrated at the showstopper challenge.

Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith had asked the bakers to create a two-tiered cake, coated with delicious chocolate on the outside.

But the contestants struggled with the task at hand as the tent turned into an inferno during filming due to the recent hot weather, meaning getting the chocolate to set was near enough impossible.

And things were twice as hard for Manon, as her design included figures made out of icing.

As she attempted to successfully create the fiddly figures, Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig ventured over to her station to see how she was getting on.

Trying to lighten the mood, Noel likened her little icing figurines to the show's hosts, asking: "Are these us? Is this Sandi?"

Manon pointed to her creations, replying: "Yeah, that's you. You're fast asleep."

Pointing at another, the baker added: "And that's Sandi f*cked off because you're late."

Noel was shocked that Manon had swore on the show, exclaiming: "I think she's looking at the wrong script!"

While Noel and Sandi quickly laughed off the incident, GBBO fans weren't exactly happy by Manon's bad language, and took to Twitter to express their shock.

One person exclaimed: "Did Manon just swear?? On this wholesome show??"

"Wow a swear on #gbbo Manon has gone rogue," declared another outraged viewer.

And another echoed: "A SWEAR?!?!? On Bake Off?!?!? Oh Manon! "

"MANON WE DO NOT SWEAR ON BAKE OFF #GBBO," tweeted a fourth fan.

Manon wasn't the only GBBO star that rubbed viewers up the wrong way, as Paul Hollywood also came under fire from fans.

The baking judge dished out three famous Hollywood handshakes during Tuesday's episode, but viewers accused him of 'devaluing' the prestigious GBBO gesture.

Dan, Rahaul and Ruby each received handshakes for their incredible bakes, but some fans flocked to Twitter, claiming Paul was being 'too generous'.

"Paul's just handing out handshakes willy nilly now," announced one person.

And another added: "Looks like it's going to another year of Paul just dashing out handshakes."
