'Malcolm In The Middle' Parents Hal And Lois Reunited In Instagram Snap

Remember the early 00s, when you'd come home from school and watch hours of Malcolm in the Middle? The hit Fox series, about Malcolm and his dysfunctional but lovable family, was a massive hit with children and adults alike.

Part of what made Malcolm in the Middle *so* relatable was Malcolm's parents, Hal and Lois, played by Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek between 2000 and 2006.

Cranston, now 63, is perhaps better known to Breaking Bad fans as Walter White, and has enjoyed a glittering career since Malcolm in the Middle while Kaczmarek, also 63, has picked up an impressive collection of Golden Globe and Emmy Awards.

Now, the pair have reunited in a photo that's melted hearts all over the world. Everyone loves a throwback, especially Cranston, who posted the pic on Instagram with the caption: "Hal & Lois together again. #malcolminthemiddle."

The pair look delighted at being reunited in the cosy snap and Jane shared it on her Instagram, too, with the caption: "Amazing!"

Bryan is currently starring in Lee Hall's Network on Broadway, but it's nice to see the success hasn't gone to his head - and his fans were equally delighted.

One commenter wrote: "You guys are my second parents honestly I've seen every episode 20 times thank you for everything".

Another wrote: "Oh my god, I'm crying seeing this. You guys looks good." Others found it harder to keep chill, with one simply saying: "STOPPP MY HEART IS SO HAPPY!!!!!!"

We can't help but wonder if this means a real Malcolm reunion might be on the cards and the possibility is on other people's minds, too, with one person commenting: "Awww!!!! Make another season!!!!!"

While another wrote: "Reboot please @foxtv please it would kill and do so well or @netflix let's do it."

While Bryan seems pretty busy being actually famous these days, the rest of the gang don't appear to have too much on, and with all the recent reboots and revivals of classic 90s and 00s shows, it doesn't seem that unlikely after all...
