Megan Barton Hanson has joked that she wouldn't have got with boyfriend Wes Nelson if she had met him outside the Love Island villa.

The pair found love on this years Love Island and made it to the final four, however during an interview on Good Morning Britain the 24-year-old admitted that the romance probably wouldn't have blossomed if they had met outside.

The romance began after Wes dumped his partner Laura Anderson for Megan after she confessed her feelings for him.

However, shortly after the pair hooked up the couple were split by the Casa Amor task with Megan choosing to couple up with Alex Miller.

The pair are now boyfriend and girlfriend and appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning to discuss life outside the villa.

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid questioned whether it was really possible to find love in the villa.

Wes replied: "Most definitely! I don't think either of us expected to find someone that we genuinely connected with.

"Obviously people don't really look at it as the most idyllic place to find true love, it's not traditional."

Susanna also remarked that the villa with a pool where you relax in a bikini all day is the perfect place to find love, but Meg was quick to make her point that it isn't about how things look.

Meg said: "People maybe thought that all the cameras, the producers, how could it possibly be organic and real? But I think for me, it's the most stripped back version. There's no social media, there's no outside influence.

"If I would have seen that Wes was like 20, seeing him taking selfies I would have been like no way! Run a mile!"

Fellow Islanders Dani and Jack also appeared on This Morning this week to discuss life outside the villa.

Chatting to hosts of the ITV chat show, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the lovebirds revealed that they love living together (no surprises there, then), although Dani already has some strict rules in place for Jack.

Dani also admitted that it has been nice to spend some time together away from the cameras.

Speaking about their pad, Jack gushed: "I love it," while Dani echoed: "It's fun. I feel like a house wife though."

Revealing Dani's house rules, the former pen salesman added: "She has a show bathroom. I'm not allowed use it and there's loads of display stuff in there I can't use."

Megan was also forced to defend herself when asked about her previous glamour modelling career.

After being asked about her bold t-shirt, which had the words "Stop valuing women based on their sexual history" printed on it, Megan was quick to respond to host Susanna Reid.

In a passionate speech, she said: "I think it's really unfair and an old fashioned way to look at it just because someone who has worked in the sex industry or glamour modelling, that it's frowned upon.

"It's 2018, if women want to do whatever they want with their body, we should empower each other, it shouldn't be like a put down."

She continued: "I slept with people on TV and I feel like people want me to be ashamed of it and I'm not. Adam [Collard] did exactly the same!"
